The C501K is a versatile, high-speed optical network terminal modem based on GEPON technology for home and the small office. It supports one port Gigabit Ethernet interfaces so that subscriber enjoys ultra high speed internet through their wired connection client such as computer and any home gateway modem supporting Wi-Fi or VoIP FXS interface. Connected to GEPON OLT via fiber optic cable, C501K provides seamless triple play service to their subscribers as a means of new service revenue chain.
The C501K delivers cost-effective and efficient triple play services to FTTH users through PON access over single fiver core so that operator reduce the CAPEX and OPEX at lowest among fiber network technologies. In addition, the C501K provides web-based management application for easy and quick operation and efficient maintenance. By connecting ubiQuoss OLT system, the C501K supports the effective and efficient capabilities for administration, provisioning, and O&M which are essential for operator’s service management.
C501K, installed in an apartment, an office or a house, is connected to the IP terminal devices such as a subscriber’s home-gateway modem, PC, laptop and provides broadband access service.
Adopting the state-of-the-art technology, C501K supports various functions, superior to those of the existing Ethernet switch, including Quality of Service (QoS) function, management function that allows to take prompt actions against the problems in the system and a subscriber line, security function that secures subscriber information safely, and subscriber management function that secures a user’s right from illegal users such as crackers. Up to thirty two C501K connections per one GEPON port from OLT, furthermore, it shares the data of 1.25Gbps with one optic line of 802.11ah GE-PON interface through passive optical distribution device which is a splitter. |
